Of late, the mobile world has been buzzing and if you’ve been wondering why, the answer is very simple: "NOKIA". In the past two weeks, I’ve had to update myself so much with the rapid changes with Nokia. Many applications are released everyday. Of all the applications available, there’s one application which I found most interesting which is the Nokia MAPS. It is quite fun to use maps in your city especially when it is designed to guide you, what more, with the likes of GPS being a novelty in India.
One of the most striking features is the voice guiding ability. The only downside so far is the fact that it is still not available in Chennai. I was surprised when I found out that Nokia had released the beta version of maps 3.0. It seems to be much better than its predecessor. The explore feature sets it apart from the 2.0 version. Features such as online download of maps through maps loader is a unique advantage as we can preload the maps that we need. Other notable applications like N-gage 2 and software updater are also very helpful. Hats off to Nokia and we really look forward to more amazing things from Nokia*.
